Randall Wertheimer

Randy Wertheimer is President and CEO of Hunter Pasteur, a southeast Michigan based developer which he founded in 1999. Randy has helped lead Hunter Pasteur to successfully develop over 25 communities and deliver 2,000+ homes and condominiums throughout southeast Michigan. Hunter Pasteur recently developed The Godfrey Hotel Detroit along with over 1,400 luxury apartments in partnership with The Forbes Company that include amenities and finish quality not found in SE Michigan. With highly desirable locations in Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Corktown, West Bloomfield, Northville and more, Randy along with his team are raising the standard for apartment living in Michigan. With all of his accomplishments in business and philanthropy, Randy is also a family man. Randy and Nancy Katzman have 4 kids: Devin, Adam (Olivia), Rachel, and Jordan (Alex). He enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and pickle ball in his spare time.

Randy and Nancy donate to dozens of local charities. Randy is on the board of and former past President of ORT along with a board member of the Jewish Federation Real Estate Committee.

In recognition for his career achievements, Randy was listed as one of the 500 most powerful business leaders in Metro Detroit by DBusiness Magazine.

Seth Herkowitz

Seth Herkowitz is a Partner at Hunter Pasteur and serves as COO. In his role, Seth is responsible for strategic oversight of the Company’s team members, its consultant network, and its general development activities across the Company’s portfolio of single, multifamily, and mixed-use communities.

Further, Seth works closely with the various municipal planning and building departments throughout the lifecycle of HP’s developments. During his tenure at HP, the company has acquired, developed, and constructed more than 1,000 single and multifamily residences across Southeast Michigan. HP currently has 2,000 Residential units and $1B in its development pipeline.

Seth is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his JD/MBA from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Seth is a Beaumont Health Trustee and served on the Chicago Kent Alumni Board of Directors. Professional affiliations include the Detroit Developer Roundtable, Urban Land Institute’s local and Midwest regional housing and community development product council, and the Michigan Homebuilders Association Legacy Council. For his work, Seth has been recognized as a “40 Under 40” recipient from Crain’s Detroit Business.

Brett Yuhasz

Brett Yuhasz is the Vice President of Construction for Hunter Pasteur, a leading real estate developer of single family and multifamily properties in metro Detroit. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the design & construction process, from master planning, comprehensive design and engineering, pre-construction planning to project completion. Brett is passionate about building high-quality, sustainable communities. He is committed to working with his team to create developments that meet the needs of residents and investors alike.

Prior to joining Hunter Pasteur, Brett spent 5 years working as a project manager and director for Bedrock Detroit. During that time, he completed over 50 development projects, comprised of over 1.6 million gross square feet valued at over $360 million. These projects included comprehensive core and shell renovations, façade and structural rehabilitation, historical restoration, retail, office, residential and hospitality projects. Most notably, Yuhasz was the project manager and oversaw construction for the Shinola Hotel development along Woodward Avenue in Detroit.

Brett has received several recognitions for his accomplishments including being named one of DBusiness magazine’s “30 in their Thirties”. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute of Michigan and was a part of the Larson Center for Leadership Cohort 2018.

Outside of business, Brett’s greatest passion is his growing family and friends. Northern Michigan holds a special place in his heart, as he frequently spends time in the Petoskey and Charlevoix areas throughout the year golfing, boating and enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the area.

Omar Eid

Omar Eid is a partner and Vice President of Development at Hunter Pasteur. After spending over 6 years in New York City working for a private commercial real estate developer in Manhattan, Eid moved back to Michigan and joined Hunter Pasteur starting as a Development Manager in 2021.  Eid is responsible for facilitating design, planning, entitlements, and operations for HP’s multifamily portfolio. He has played a role in HP’s entitlement and development efforts for the Northville Downs development, a 48-acre planned unit development on the existing Northville Downs Racetrack which will be co-developed between Toll Brothers, and Hunter Pasteur with its joint-venture partners in The Forbes Company and Soave Real Estate Group. In addition to the Northville Downs development, Eid is also co-leading development and design efforts on Hunter Pasteur’s first out-of-state development in Miami’s Design District, which is a high-end mixed-use development in partnership with DACRA and L Catterton.

Eid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning as well as a Professional Certificate in Real Estate Development and Financial Modelling from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. Eid is also an active member on the Urban Land Institute’s Local Product Council for Housing and Community Development.

Ryan Dailing

As Vice President of Finance with Hunter Pasteur, Ryan is responsible for leading strategic analysis, development opportunity evaluation as well as supporting the execution of partnerships and financings while engaging in strategic planning, portfolio management, analysis and financial modeling of investments and incentive structuring.

Ryan has over 10 years of financial leadership experience across multiple sectors including commercial real estate and investment banking.   Throughout his career, Ryan has led the analysis and execution of project financings totaling over $750 million.

Prior to joining Hunter Pasteur, Ryan served as Director of Finance for Olympia Development and was an Assistant Vice President with privately held investment bank George K. Baum & Company (since acquired by Stifel).

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Central Michigan University and his Master of Finance degree from Colorado State University.  He is an alumni of the Urban Land Institute’s Larson Center for Leadership and former Treasurer of the Colorado Municipal Bond Dealers Association.
